You can share status updates with your connections:
Once you are logged in to LinkedIn, click on ‘home’ at the top left of the page. This will take you to a list of everyone’s status updates and there is a spot for you to enter your own right at the top of the list.
You can choose whether to share your update with everyone or just with your connections. There is a checkbox you can click to send your update out to Twitter at the same time. Once you are ready, just click the ‘share’ button.
