When appropriate, I ask clients to invite their Facebook friends to ‘like’ their business page. I also provide some guidance about which friends to invite (I haven’t found a situation where it’s appropriate to invite the whole friend list).
Invite Your Friends to Like your Page
Instructions
1. Click on the Friends option at the top right side of Facebook.
2. When you click on upper left of the window that pops up, it will drop down. Click on ‘search all friends‘ instead of ‘recent interactions.’
3. A list of all of your Facebook friends will come up. Click on the friends you would like to invite. (If clicking on the check box doesn’t work, click on their names and the box should populate with a check mark.) You can scroll down to see the whole list.
4. Click on the submit button at the bottom right of the window and your invitations will be sent out.
